$160-180K plus bonus
Job Overview

VP of Accounting, International Company HQ in South Charlotte
Key Responsibilities Include
Financial statements preparation in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.

Monthly and quarterly close, quarterly corporate reporting package.

Development, implementation, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Review business transactions, research, document and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.

Review monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.

Work closely with FP&A in monthly and quarterly reporting to executive team.

Cash forecasting and reporting.

Supervise the leader of the Accounts Payable.

Manage the external audit process.

Work closely with other functions to understand the business and provide effective financial information to support business growth.

M&A due diligence and merger integration.

Work closely with the CFO.

Mentoring and coaching all direct and indirect reports.

Special projects.

CPA 10+ years’ experience including a combination of public accounting and private industry Recent experience leading accounting and financial reporting in a complex environment Prior audit experience in public accounting Proven experience leading people, mentoring and developing managers and their teams Proven experience managing through positive change as the company invests and grows Excellent user of ERP, Excel and other technology tools Combination of a strong strategic business and GAAP accountant Excellent communication skills Problem solver Approximately 25% travel
Master’s degree IFRS experience Merger integration M&A due diligence
