This person will be responsible for helping to diagnose and recommend solutions for issues related to eligibility, claims and remit issues.

Individuals will also work directly with Support, Implementations and Product to identify and prioritize high impact opportunities that will drive operational efficiency, effectiveness and improve overall customer satisfaction/retention.

Candidates will provide second and third-line support for high impact issues complicated by challenges related to medical billing.

All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.Maintain expert level of proficiency across Nextech PM solutions as it relates to Billing and Billing best practices.Efficiently work escalated customers’ issues independently while effectively managing customer communications and expectations.Fully document and resolve incomplete incidents in a timely manner following Nextech guidelinesAct as a primary Billing liaison with Implementation, Development and Product Management to help identify and resolve high impact product issues and/or enhancement opportunities while partnering with those teams to proactively influence product directionServe as the departments Billing champion working to proactively reduce both case volume and effortInvestigate the most complex Billing issues following Nextech support guidelinesProvide exceptional customer serviceMaintain ongoing contact with assigned clients and 3rd party partners to ensure customer satisfactionMaintain detailed notes and documentation for each support incident in ticketing systemCreate and maintain documentation and training to help drive success for the broader team and our customersTeach, guide and mentor tier 1, 2 resourcesSuccessfully juggle multiple tasks and priorities while devoting 20% of your time to helping others, 70% to working cases and escalations and 10% to driving the success of the team and customers through projects, knowledge sharing and education.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:6 years of billing experience working at or for a medical practice specializing in Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics and/or Plastic Surgery2 years working with TriZetto or similar clearing houseSelf-Motivated with a strong sense of urgency and personal accountabilityThe ability to think and work independently to troubleshoot and resolve a wide variety of billing and software issues with a significant level of complexityStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to balance multiple demands and priorities Leadership skills with ability to partner collaboratively Excellent Customer Service skills, especially over the phoneFlexibility to work different shifts including on call weekend shiftPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, or Medical related fieldMedical Billing certification(s)2 years of experience with Nextech productsExperience with MS SQL Server and SQL queriesAdditional InformationTotal RewardsNextech is pleased to offer a variety of health, wellness and lifestyle benefit offerings for all fulltime employees:Generous annual bonus opportunityiCREATE Employee Recognition ProgramInsurance : Choice of Medical, Dental, and Vision plansWellness Program including discounts on medical premiumsHealth Savings AccountFlexible Spending Account15 days PTO at date of hire (increases with years of service) + 10 paid holidays + 1 floating holidayVolunteer Time Off100% Company-Paid Parental leave401(k) with Employer Match100% Company-Paid Life Insurance and Short/Long Term Disability InsuranceCompany-Sponsored 529 College Savings PlanCorporate Discounts on Retail, Travel, and EntertainmentPet Insurance optionsWorking Environment: General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels.
