We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas or messages and create visually impactful representations, in both print and electronic media. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design trends, software, and skilled in efficient design process from concept to the final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a visual design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the goals of the ask, with the ability to deliver compelling story through visual elements in timely manner. Obtains business objectives from management, consider customer needs and wants, and translate strategic direction accurately into creative and high-quality graphic design, including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, that meets organizational expectations and represents the company appropriately. Supports all creative design by utilizing various design tools and skills to envision concepts to demonstrate future vision of mobility UX on innovative projects, products, and customer pursuits through research, ideation, and developing esthetically appealing concepts and other presentation materials. Support UI design for next generation mobility solutions. Work independently and cooperatively on multiple presentation projects with cross-functional team, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include three or more simultaneous projects Must have proficient design and verbal communication skills to convey broad concepts as well as fine detail clearly through written, visual, and interactive media to other designers, developers, management, and customers. Effectively identify next steps, manage tasks, and provides solutions through designated channels in timely manner. Must be comfortable with challenges and ambiguity working in an environment where problems and solutions are often not well defined. Must be able to handle change, shift gears comfortably, and decide and initiate next steps without having the complete picture. Open to learning new domains, technologies, and processes, and finding creative ways to solve design challenges and generates numerous design solutions and evaluating information representation. Updates and maintains internal databases of designs, assets, and presentations. Monitors and keep abreast of new and emerging Graphic Design trends, Digital UIUX, Industry trends. Supports co-workers and performs other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to visualization of key messaging and storytelling for other groups within PASA. Interprets and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations. PROBLEM-SOLVINGKNOW HOW Four-year College Degree in Creative Design (Graphic Design, User Interface Design, User Experience or similar discipline) in terms of Design, and a minimum of Four years of work experience with GX Design with Illustration, Product, Transportation, or Marketing Design. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Proven experience with graphic design and strong portfolio of various design projects Experience with Human Centered Design process and strong understanding of its concept and best practices Experience with PowerPoint presentations and storytelling through illustrations, Photo-editing, Sketching, Storyboarding Experience (5+years) with Adobe Creative Suite such as Illustrator Photoshop and other design relevant software Excellent communication and presentation skills Growth minded, Self-Motivated, Problem Solving aptitude, Multi-tasking, Holds accountability, Strong collaborator, CustomerUser Focused, Friendly, Ability to elicit requirements from internalexternal customers PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Experience with leading projects Familiarity with Android OS and Material Design experience or knowledge Experience with creating other Lo-Fi functional UI prototypes such as SKETCH, InVision, Figma, Adobe Xd or other relevant tools Experience with Logo design or Typography design Experience with Automotive Mobility Industry Megatrends Experience with motion graphics tool such as Adobe Aftereffects Familiarity with Mobile app design or Web page design Familiarity with Research and user testing Familiarity with HMI workflow and collaboration with sw development team ATTRIBUTESSKILLS Must be a capable team player and able to adapt to various project requirements.
