Informatica Application Integration Lead/Architect

What You?ll Do:

  • As an Informatica Lead/Architect at Sogeti you will have the opportunity to:
  • Lead an offshore team and coach/mentor team.
  • Technical skills used- Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Application Integration, API Management, Secure Agent, Cloud API Gateway, IICS
  • PowerCenter (ETL)
  • MDM (nice to have)
  • Service Management (Production Support, Dashboards, Monitoring, Alerts)
  • Lead the development and customization of applications and function as a team lead with supervisory responsibilities
  • Manage the creation of complex SQL code and mappings to extract, transform, and load data ensuring compatibility with all tables and users specifications
  • Work with various levels of project managers, data modelers, software developers, and system administrators to design load processes and identify potential problem areas in source systems
  • Solve data integrity issues and ensure timely data availability.
  • Lead the creation, execution, and organization of sessions, monitoring load times and rearranging processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the loading process
  • Perform data load monitoring and problem resolution;take action to resolve recurring issues.
  • Analytical and logical thinking to create and modify process flows – adaptable in communication style to reflect the audience (executive vs developer)

Education Qualification:

? A four-year College Degree in Business or Information Systems is required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in the IT field, with at least five years in a programming capacity
  • Solid understanding of programming, database, system design, and conditional logic
  • Ability to design, code, test, and debug
  • Experience designing and implementing a minimum of 2 end-to-end project implementations using Informatica PowerCenter
  • Strong development skills using Informatica PowerCenter
  • Experience analyzing data, developing data mapping requirements, or equivalent knowledge
  • Core competency in:ETL tools (Informatica), Relational DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Competent level of understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, Stored Procedures, and API’s of assigned modules
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Ability to drive assignment through to completion, including interactions with 3rd party vendors
  • Ability to give direction, with experience guiding other team members and coordinating offshore teams
