Senior Payroll Analyst

ACS Solutions

This is a Full-time position in Clayton, NC posted June 8, 2021.

Duration:               6 months ( potential Temp to perm)
 
Note
– Position will be based out of the Clayton, NC offices and will need to be onsite at least 1-2 days per week.
Must haves:
1) ADP experience, preferably Workforce Now and ETime
2) Experience in SAP or Employee central
3) FPC or CPP certifications preferred -6 yrs progressive exp in payroll can offset certifications
4) International payroll exp.

would be a big plus!

Job Description –
Payroll lead & subject matter expert (SME).

Provides technical & analytical support to the Payroll function for Site Clayton.

Leads full scope of Payroll & eTime processing in an efficient, accurate & reliable manner.

Acts as escalation point to resolve issues.

Ensures compliance with local, state & federal laws.

Interacts with all levels of internal & external customers.

Provides cross-function support (shared services) to DFP, DAPI-US & OFP-US groups.

Provides support to other required initiatives as required.
Accountabilities:
Ø Responsible for processing, monitoring & maintenance of payroll data.
Ø Addresses complex tax issues & responds to appropriate agency.
Ø Responsible for payroll systems (eTime & ADP).
Ø Identifies process improvement initiatives.
Ø Prepares various special pay calculations.
Ø Prepares payroll upload & reports, as needed.
Ø Responsible for employee garnishments, fringes & payments.
Ø Serves as back-up to full scope of payroll.
Ø Responsible for multi-state payroll set up, compliance & processing.
Ø Conducts training on HR systems/payroll practices, as required.
Ø Prepares complex reports to support & comply with government requirements.
Ø Maintains systems to provide accurate reporting.
Ø Ensures compliance with all applicable federal & state laws.
Ø Prepares & coordinate payroll transactions to General Ledger.
Ø Responsible for expatriate pay calculations and monitors net pay calculations each pay period.
Ø Ensures proper programming of payroll system for special calculations & compliance, engaging
ADP to create change requests & thorough testing of solutions.
Ø Ensures timely follow through on payroll inquiries.
Ø Supports Rewards & Recognition Team to ensure timely 401(k) and HSA funding.
Ø Supports cross-functional team within P&O & other departments, as required.
Ø Provides support & assistance to Finance Team & other general accounting functions.
Ø Provides seamless year-end & year-begin processes.
Ø Ensures accurate 401(k) & benefit data as it relates to payroll by performing regular data audits.
Ø Identifies & manages payroll quality control standards.
Ø Conducts Internal Quarterly 401(k) audits to reconcile with vendor data.
Ø Serves as liaison to internal & external financial auditors.
Ø Responsible for the monthly anniversary rewards program.
Ø Prepares payroll input & reconciliation for company government grants & incentives reporting.
Ø Prepares materials & participates in new hire orientation.
Ø Responsible for absenteeism/absence reporting.
Ø May support aspects of Mobility.
Ø Responsible for annual audit data preparation, including but not limited to the following:
Ø 401(k) External Audit
Ø Internal GIA and External minimal controls audit
Ø Worker’s Comp Payroll Audit
Ø Other accountabilities/projects, as assigned, in support of P&O Department.

Job Requirements:
