Kelly Services is seeking a Content Specialist for an American biotechnology product development company in Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Title: Content Specialist Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15275 Job Type: Contract Length: 6-Months Est.

Start Date: 9/1/2020 Hours: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day Pay Rate: $30 per hour Position Summary: The content specialist assists in the development and implementation of content for all tactics, inclusive but not limited to print collateral, catalogs, event marketing, email, digital and web.

The content specialist requires partnering with key stakeholders to procure content and assets needed for tactic production.

They also integrate output of writers and designers to produce and author a final web-based layout, compatible with corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborates closely with content strategists, visual designers, copywriters, and technical teams on multiple, concurrent projects to Procure content and assets required for digital tactic production Inform and integrate high-quality output of strategy, design, and copy to author web-based layouts compatible with corporate standards, pattern libraries, and best practices Identify ideas for enhancements and problem-solving efficiencies within website experience and internal efficiencies Creates, edits, manages, and publishes content using various content management systems (CMS) to Code HTML, CSS, and Javascript; utilizes Adobe CQ and Unica Interact template logic, and other code required to present managed and dynamic content in a browser Add, edit, and publish digital assets in the CMS, such as text, photos, videos, social media feeds, metadata, tags, sidebar content, forms, and other assets Prototypes web experiences through Utilizing wireframing tools, such as Sketch or Adobe XD to prototype marketing landing pages Building CMS-driven prototypes to test component functionality Creates, edits, and publishes vanity URLs for several domains by Creating, editing, and publishing vanity URLs in Akamai tool Requesting vanity URLs via JIRA for domains not integrated into Akamai tool Acts as a technical subject matter expert resource who Assists with the training of internal users on website components and templates Identifies and troubleshoots project and technology issues/roadblocks Pilots new workflows Team Environment Skills: Seeks out others’ opinions and perspectives Expresses opinions in a consensus-seeking manner Encourages discussions on lessons learned and schedules retrospectives Responds to others in a “yes and” way to embrace and build on ideas Acknowledges, reflects critically, and learns from mistakes Assumes best intentions from colleagues’ behavior and seeks clarification often Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing, Content/Communication, English, Journalism or similar with 4-6 years of experience in coding or development Knowledge of HTML and content management systems; experience with SQL, Adobe CQ, Adobe Target a plus Experience creating and working with wireframes helpful Knowledge of file naming SEO standards helpful Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Creative Suite Working knowledge of graphic design, UX, or information architecture Solid organizational and communication skills with a problem-solving and detail-oriented approach; experience with scientific content a plus Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively under pressure and balance speed and quality Responds well and stays positive to constructive feedback and creative change requests Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing, Content/Communication, English, Journalism or similar with 4-6 years of experience in editorial, coding or development Knowledge of HTML and content management systems APPLY TODAY Important information : This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
