POSITION: Programmer III n nn n nn nnClient is currently fully remote until July, but the candidate must be able to come onsite 3 days/week after that.

nn nn n nn nn PRINCIPAL MISSION /PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES n nn nnCompletes assign tasks at the direction on the VP of Software Development.

Creates secure, modern web applications that help empower the client’s staff to maximize productivity and better serve our members.

Responsible for handling custom web front end and back end programming as well as other complex software projects/tasks.

The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills and solid understanding of OOP design principles.

Experience working in an Agile SDLC is a plus.

nn nn n nn nn TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS nn nn n nn nn 1.

Technical Skills: nn nn
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using most of the following: Angular (2+), Typescript, C#, .NET Core, Web API, SQL / relational databases, Entity Framework, IIS, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira, etc.

nn nn
• 5+ years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries, working with ORM frameworks, stored procedures and relational data models using SQL Server.

nn nn
• Experience with and sound understanding of OOP design principles.

nn nn
• Experience with REST principles, Service-Oriented Architecture and API development.

nn nn
• Knowledge of standardized industry design patterns for systems integration and web application development.

nn nn
• SQL Server 2016 or 2012.

(SSIS, SSRS a plus) nn nn
• Familiarity with source control products such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Git.

• Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Develop a strong working knowledge of the client’s technical environment
– software, hardware, intranet / internet, and networking systems.

n nn nn 3.

Enforce the client’s programming standards through specification review and code reviews for other of the client’s programmers.

nn nn 4.

Develop and support interfaces to the client’s third party partners using APIs and ETL processes.

nn nn 5.

Maintain confidentiality of the client’s member information.

nn nn 6.

Must keep abreast of technological advances and be relied upon for expertise and judgement to improve PFFCU’s programming operation.

nn nn 7.

Demonstrate effective business and technical communication and collaboration skills.

nn nn 8.
