Oracle Developer

In this role, you will be responsible for Analysis, Design, Development and Production Support for our Oracle Database Development Team, supporting Fidelity Investments Brokerage Technology. This includes representing our Team on both large and small scale initiatives, while also working on individual tasks and support requests. You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with dynamic teams, across multiple locations. You should have strong Oracle Development and Communications skills.

The Team

As part of the eDB2 Team, you will provide Development and Support for data integration and services required for numerous Fidelity Brokerage applications. There is a tight integration between eDB2 and these applications, which leads to significant involvement in both Discretionary Development and Production Support activities. Under minimal direction, you will conduct analysis, design and develop utilizing PL/SQL, SQL and Shell Scripting technologies.

The Expertise You Have (The order of these bullets do not matter)

• Relational database development experience required
• Hands on working experience with Oracle database, PL/SQL, SQL and Data Modeling
• Familiarity with Oracle Golden Gate replication is a plus.
• Experience with development and support of Web Services, both REST and SOAP
• Prior experience with Production Support activities
• Knowledge of Equities market and Trading of Stock, Options and Mutual Funds is a plus
• BS with a technology related field

• Supporting and performing all phases of testing leading to final implementation, including unit, integration, acceptance testing and production install validation
• Creating and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation and status
• Providing application support, problem diagnosis and resolution, acting as an on-call resource supporting the organization incident escalation models, including code release validation and production installation support
