Marketing and Business Development Coordinator

The Marketing and Business Development coordinator reports directly to the Head of Corporate Development in planning and executing marketing and sales initiatives across the firm.

You will help maintain the brand image and tell the firm’s story through content development, social media, email marketing, marketing collateral, press releases, and Edgemont’s website.

You will also play a critical role in helping to facilitate business development campaigns through sales enablement and lead generation assistance.

This position requires skills in the areas of digital marketing, copywriting, creative thinking, and problem-solving.

Essential Job Functions
Assist in the development, production, editing, and distribution of content and communications across social media (LinkedIn), media outlets (Business Wire), email marketing (Mailchimp), and Edgemont’s website (WordPress) Manage internal systems, tracking documents, third-party vendors, and media inquiries Onboard new employees and lead demos for internal systems Run weekly reports and sync data across our internal systems CRM data entry to develop target lists and new business pipeline Call/meeting scheduling and coordinating industry conferences Stay up to date and apply knowledge of the latest trends in digital and social media to fuel marketing and sales initiatives

 Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred 2+ years of demonstrated marketing experience, with a focus on content development, lead generation or sales support Ability to learn new skills and adapt quickly to manage multiple projects and digital platforms Must have strong writing skills and attention to detail in order to produce and edit short-form content, email copy, headlines, marketing assets, and press releases A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to take the initiative, own your tasks and problem solve on the fly Detail-oriented to zoom in and catch typos and design flaws, but also zoom out, collaborate and brainstorm with our teams on how marketing and email can help achieve key goals
