VP Marketing


This is a Full-time position in Denver, CO posted May 2, 2021.


Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the development and execution of our Global Marketing strategy, plan, and team (directly/indirectly manages approx. 25 people). You ‘ll ensure we have the proper resources and initiatives in place to achieve our goals encompassing building the brand and creating consumer demand across multiple segments and geographies globally. This role directly leads the Global Marketing teams (Brand, Creative and Digital) and indirectly leads the Regional Marketing (Consumer, Brand Partner, Retail/Etail) teams in North America, EMEA, and Asia. As a key member of the Company ‘s leadership team, you ‘ll have a significant role and impact on the development and execution of the total company strategic and operating plans.

This role is based in Denver, CO.


  • Lead the creation of the 5-year strategic and 1-2-year global operating plans for marketing
  • Lead and manage the global Marketing team – direct reports include: Director of Brand Marketing, Creative Director and Digital Marketing Director.
  • Directly lead and indirectly manage the Regional Marketing leaders in EMEA, NA, and Asia who are responsible for development and execution of their respective consumer and trade marketing plans, within the framework of the global marketing strategy and standards
  • Create and realize global marketing KPIs including brand awareness and attributes, website traffic and click thru rates, consumer engagement/community building, PR and media efficacy/impact, and indirectly impact consumer sell through and Brand Partner adoption/growth
  • Partner closely with senior leaders across the organization, especially Commercial and Product leaders, building and executing integrated plans to achieve individual team and collective company goals
  • Inspire, develop, and empower the team to deliver and grow
  • Role model company ‘s Core Principles to your team and across the organization


  • Bachelor ‘s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary Marketing teams, including experience at the senior leader level.
  • 10+ years Marketing experience successfully leading significant Marketing projects/initiatives
  • Experience coaching and developing leaders, managers and employees both formally and informally
  • Demonstrated success in creating and implementing strategic and operating plans
  • Strong communication skills both written and orally.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups of people across the globe
  • Passion for the Outdoor and/or Athletic Industry
  • Ability to travel internationally 2-5 times per year


  • Advanced degree(s) in Marketing or Business
  • Marketing, Product Development and/or Commercial experience in the industries company serves
  • Experience leading teams and projects based in multiple countries around the world
