Application Systems Analyst Iv

This is a Full-time position in Orlando, FL posted June 9, 2021.

This Applications Systems Analyst IV position is responsible for on-going campus support of the Oracle PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and Enterprise Service Automation (ESA) Grants application system functionality.

The position reports to the Associate Director, Financials Systems and Technology.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing one or more computer-based information systems and for formulating and recommending policies and procedures to effectively administer those systems.

Leads and direct the work of others including planning and coordinating work teams across university departments and organizations to determine information systems and business process requirements.

Provides business analyst expertise for all functionality supported, including configuration setup, design, development, workflow, and related interfaces.

Also responsible for documenting those business processes.

Develops methods and project plans to implement and support new or existing functionality, including evaluating and modifying business processes.

Responsible for planning and executing testing scenarios for on-going system support and testing new processes or integrations.

Develops methods and specifications for implementations, upgrades, conversion, and other activities with expanded functionality.

Designs, develops, and prepares complex financial and operations reports for university wide audiences using various reporting tools.

Responsible for providing methods on troubleshooting functionality issues and providing detailed solutions related to the functionality supervised and supported.

Coordinates with colleagues on related functionality to resolve issues and ensure effective system utilization.

Design security structure for supported functionality to ensure systems access is properly controlled.

Provides support to technical developers for data integrity and data structures using PeopleTools.

Plans and conducts cross departmental university meetings with appropriate staff to gather business process requirements and analyze results.

Conducts system design, prototype and fit gap sessions.

Provides content for the development of training, assists in the development of training plans, and conducts training when required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in FSCM and ESA applications version 9.2.

Experience in computer applications, systems business analysis, security report development using Query, nVIsion, XML Publisher, data warehouse applications, PeopleSoft workflow, data analysis, experience in system trouble-shooting, user support, application and integration testing, computer related training and Microsoft Productivity tools.

Excellent planning and communication skills, demonstrated experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals; maintains a high level of initiative, is a proven self starter, and able to work multiple priorities.

Knowledge and experience in improving business controls and processes while supporting critical business strategies by development implementation, and maintenance of business application systems.
