Entertainment Team Member


This is a Contract position in Shakopee, MN posted March 31, 2021.


As a member of theLive Entertainmentteamat Valleyfair you will have the opportunity to work in one of the followingpositions:Character Talent, Entertainment Tech, Entertainment Area Manager, Stage Manager, Midway and Rider Guides, Party Patrol, Guest Coordinator, Spotter, Usher, Escort, Float Director or Float Driver. Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds.
Must be able to attend all training and rehearsal days.
Must be 16 years of age or older.

Float drivers must have a valid drivers license.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.


Communicates needs and concerns with supervisors.
Communicates effectively with guests, regarding any questions or concerns that they may have.
Assists with set up and prep for events, parades, and/or shows, as needed.
Interacts with guests in a pleasant and friendly manner.

Helps maintain cleanliness of Entertainment areas, as needed.
May be asked to assist the Entertainment Department in multiple positions from those listed as an Entertainment Team Member, based on skill set and needs throughout the season.

Adheres to and enforces all cedar fair and specific park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.
Other duties may be assigned.
