The I& CM Business Technology Office (BTO) is Freddie Mac’s Investments and Capital Markets technology department, embedded directly in the business – right on the trading floor.

Our Management Information System (MIS) tool using cloud-based QuickBase to track business and technology activities.

The use of an information system, and associated data model, facilitates better and more easily accessible reporting of BTO activities.

This position will perform the data quality tasks, supplier risk management activities and technical documentation.

Reporting to the BTO’s Business Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate with the product owners, technology teams, business partners, and divisional supplier risk management team to define data governance processes, develop data collection approaches, identify data quality issues, and support ongoing risk management activities.Our Impact:Our team governs MIS data quality processes for the I& CM BTO and delivers datainsights for senior management supporting annual planning, product and project management, and risk management.Your Impact:In this role, you will bring data analytics expertise to the I& CM BTO Business Management team, and you will:Maintain data in the BTO’s Product Portfolio Management tool: Products, Projects, People, Process, Supplier, and Risk.Set up procedures and govern Data Quality for the Product Portfolio Management toolCollect, explore, and identify the right data to be analyzed from various sourcesIdentify critical data elements, define data collection approach, and provide data reporting requirementsSupport BTO supplier risk management: Periodic supplier risk assessments, ongoing supplier monitoring, issue remediation, and associated record-keepingDocument various automation, data admin guide, user guide, and training materialsQualifications:A minimum of 5+ years of professional experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience3+ years of demonstrated ability in data analytics, risk, and/or business managementKnowledge of data quality processesSolid understanding of structured data, data collection, and reportingStrong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and WordPreferred Technology skills: QuickBase, Python, and/or BI tools such as TableauKeys to Success in this Role:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written with customers, vendors, and colleaguesAnalytical problem solverHunger to learn, eagerness to guidePassion for agile, user-engaged work styleAbility to work efficiently with continuous change and opposing prioritiesCurrent Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
