Position Requirements
BS with 2+years of experience preferred. Extensive experience with nucleic acid preparation and proficient cell culture techniques are required. Knowledge and experience with standard molecular biology techniques including Gateway cloning and sequencing data analysis would be beneficiary.
Experience with baculovirus infect insect cell expression would be an advantage. Experience with Wave-reactor based large scale expression would be a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Position Responsibilities
The candidate will primarily be responsible for expression construct generation through Gateway LR cloning, large scale plasmid preparation, baculovirus development/expression and transient mammalian expression of proteins. The candidate will work closely with manager and project leaders to complete plasmid preparation and carry out baculovirus and transient mammalian expression in a timely manner. The position requires the ability to handle multiple projects in parallel and to closely collaborate with scientists within own department and with external customers.
