SATCOM Analyst with Security Clearance

This is a Contract position in Offutt Afb, NE posted October 11, 2020.

Description: -Strategic global SATCOM planning to support SATCOM resource allocation for apportionment, deployment, implementation and coalition plans.
-Conducting integrated, system-level planning and coordination for all SATCOM systems in support of strategic and global operations, including intelligence, commercial and allied SATCOM resources.
-Developing SATCOM policies and procedures, apportionment plans, constellation deployment plans and satellite positioning and repositioning plans and supporting goverment implementation processes; and
Participating in meetings and joint conferences as approved by the goverment for review and revalidation of all current and future SATCOM requirements. Requirements: Possess at least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience with and/or education in communication principles and theory in SATCOM, access processes, and at least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience, for each of the SATCOM related communications and computer systems. The following are the specified SATCOM related communications and computer systems for personnel qualifications purposes: Fleet Satellite Communications System (FLTSAT);
Joint MILSATCOM Network Integrated (JMINI);
Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS);
Mobile User Objective System (MUOS);
Ultra High Frequency Follow-on (UFO)
Narrowband Global SATCOM (NGS)
Joint SATCOM Management and Planning System (JSMPS);
Joint Integrated SATCOM Tool (JIST);
Requires a current DoDTop Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) access. Travel : Personnel shall be required to perform travel to various locations within the Continental United States (CONUS); the Government anticipates approximately twenty-five (25) trips per calendar year. Personnel may be required to travel as a passenger on military transportation into non-hostile areas to perform tasks.
