Senior Market Intelligence AnalystThe Market Intelligence Analyst is key role within our Oracle Communications productmarketing team that acts as a strategic partner within our business.

The role is focused onidentifying and translating research data into information and insight that may impactour company’s day-to-day business and long-term strategic growth.

Working with the business,you’ll be responsible to provide analysis, insight, and information on markets, competitors,customers, and new business opportunities across all areas Enterprise Communications,Enterprise Mobility and Unified Communications and Collaboration, for it be leveraged to supportbusiness decisions, growth and our annual business planning process.What you’ll need to succeed:Lead research, market and industry analysis on historical and future trends in advancedcommunications services including VoIP,unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) andContact Center as a Service (CCaaS).You have a deep understand of voice communications including fixed and legacy voice(local, long distance, and PRI ISDN) and IP voice (hosted VOIP with/without UC, SIP trunking, IPphone) as well as emerging migration and usage trends that’s occurring in the voice market, andcompetitive position.Lead in the development of industry market and competitive scans acrossthe Oracle Communications Enterprise portfolio as part of the annual business planningand enterprise risk management process.Lead market share modeling as part of developing and understanding the valuedrivers used in business planning and business case analysis, including an assumptions review andapproval.Contribute to the assessment of short and long-term business strategies, issues andopportunities to support earnings growth.Presentation preparation and facilitation of meetings with stakeholders acrossthe business unit to ensure a fact-based, market/customer back decision making process.Respond to ad hoc requests, projects, and other activities as required to supportthe communications business unit.Professional skillsAbility to manage long and short term projects simultaneously.Strong analytical skills and experience with business case and financial analysis.Work well in a multidisciplinary, cross functional team environment; possess highlevel of relationship, collaboration and facilitation skills with ability to work with multipleteams at various levels of the organization.Research & identify competitive differentiation in technical solutions and translate it intobusiness value and actionable insights.Collaborate with product marketing, sales consulting, strategy team, and productmanagement to identify, gather and disseminate competitive information to all stakeholders in theorganization.A driven self-starter who is comfortable handling deviations from routine, flexible andadaptable to changes in assignments and priorities.Excellent communicator in a wide variety of formats, written, oral, and presentation.Exceptional skills with spread sheets and other computer analytic tools with supportingknowledge to build complex data models, data analysis and visualizations.Education and Experience:Degree in business, economics, engineering, accounting or other math-oriented discipline(e.g., mathematics, physics, data science) is required.5 years of business analytics across a range of applications and methodologies is required.5 years of practical business / operations experience is required.Experience in research methods and both qualitative and quantitative analysis.Solid business and financial acumen and awareness of many functional disciplines is critical.Knowledge of the key industry analysts and influencers in the unified communications space,and enterprise mobility is highly valued.Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for aproduct/service or vertical market.As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensureproduct meets the needs of users.

Drive the implementation of programs in support of themarketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines.

Maintains currentstatus of customer specifications for existing and future products.

Identify, evaluate, andrecommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives.

Drive productfunctionality delivering high quality product documentation.

Lead products through scheduledrelease assisting others to manage commitments and resources.

Measure and report progress andreview deliverables.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring toothers.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advancedtechnical/business skills in area of specialization.
