As a member of a joint Government-MITRE team, you will:+ Work across multiple Sponsor projects to solve their hardest crypto challenges as a subject matter expert+ Research and develop prototype capabilities to meet evolving government mission requirements+ Integrate new capabilities into existing production environments+ Provide operational support of systems developed to address and respond to real-world events and scenariosAll successful candidates must have:+ The ability to be thrown into new situations and learn new data formats/programming languages/tools+ Degree in a relevant field (i.e., Mathematics, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Intelligence Analysis, or equivalent job experience)As a subject matter resource and technical leader, you will bring your own unique expertise and experience in one or more of the following:+ TOR, its configurations, uses and advantages/disadvantages+ Dark Web and its underlying technologies (e.g., Freenet, I2P, Tor)+ Blockchain application design+ Basic cryptographic primitives including (but not limited to) hash functions, asymmetric encryption, symmetric encryption, digital signatures, ring signatures, zero knowledge proofs+ Cryptographic protocols (e.g., TLS, IPsec)+ Reverse engineering of database/file structures+ Python, C/++, Java, Swift, Go, or other programming languagesPreferred Qualifications:+ Fundamental understanding of the benefits of current privacy implementations in blockchain design (and upcoming forks)+ Experience performing OSINT collection/analysis+ Network Analysis Experience+ System Architecture ExperienceMITRE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
