Technical Product Owner / Business Analyst

The Technical Product Owner / Software Business Analyst should have a track record of successfully working in 6-8-member agile teams, analyzing product feature enhancements following agile methodology and Scrum framework.

Collaborate, as a key member of an agile team, with Product Managers to shepherd features/user stories
– guiding the discovery phase and facilitating communications amongst other team members.

Analyze, organize, and document product requirements and architectural roadmap via workflows and document management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.

Investigate, analyze, and critique new features based on product usage data.

Team with Product Managers and UI/UX designers, to outline storyboards and wireframes for interactive design of the customer-facing applications.

Breakdown application features, wireframes, and workflows into stories containing logical chunks of work for assignment to developers.

Evaluate Product enhancements by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications/features/user stories.

6 to 8+ years professional experience as a Software Business Analyst or similar role Experience creating functional requirements using various visual models and wireframe prototypes Experience conducting business analysis using use cases, business process models & decision models Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions like requirements workshops and JAD sessions Proficient in Agile methodology and Scrum framework for software development Experience working on responsive page design and wireframes Prior experience in web application and API development is highly desirable.

Knowledge of REST concepts is a plus.

Knowledge of database management systems including Oracle, MarkLogic, MongoDB, Aurora, or similar DBMS Basic and advanced database querying skills are a must.
