B2B Sales Representative

Our Telecommunications Client servicing Government and Commercial Clients is building their Team by hiring Direct/Perm Positions. Multi-Sate presence in the West Coast includes CA, WA, and OR locations! Seeking to fill Business to Business sales representative

Job Requirements:

Summary: Prospects, sells, and supports wireless systems for government accounts.
Essential Functions: Tasks that must be performed by the person in this job.Reasonable accommodation(s) may be requested to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.
  • Prospects for sales opportunities via telephone, personal visits, mailings, personal letters, internet searches, attending trade shows, industrial events, meetings, and via referrals from existing customers.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
  • Attends customer meetings via telephone and in person to discuss sales solutions.
  • Makes site and facility visits to observe and determine communication needs and possible solutions.
  • Prepares and presents sales proposals to customers, meeting quotas set by management.
  • Works with supervisor and credit manager to quote prices, credit terms and prepares sales agreements for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.
  • Trains new customers in use of equipment.
  • Prepares monthly forecasts, sales plan, sales funnel and sales results and annual forecast reports.
  • Planning sales calls and identifying the Single Sales Objective.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Contacts customers after sale to insure satisfaction.
  • Attends new product training as needed.
    • Develop and implement plans and strategies for quickly developing their Sales territory.
    • Articulate the value proposition of our products and services to convert prospects to customers
    • Proven success in ability to close new business
    • High-level understanding of radio concepts and a moderate understanding of general wireless technology
  • Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school in sales/communication technology; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses, Certifications: Driver’s License
Tools, Equipment, Machines (non-office): Motor Vehicle
Computer / Software / Office Machines: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook e-mail. Proficient and accurate use of a computer, keyboard, monitor. Can operate a calculator or 10-Key, copier, fax, scanner, cell phone, and telephone. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of windows spreadsheet, word processing; data base, presentation, and Internet software.
