Business Development Representative


This is a Full-time position in San Francisco, CA posted June 7, 2021.

The ideal candidate is an Account Manager/Business Dev Rep who has seasoned experience with Attorneys (your “Customer”), providing them experienced expert witnesses for their active cases.

This company has experts in a multitude of specialists including Medical, Real Estate, Business Law, Engineering, Construction, Product Liability, and Environmental Law.



-Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets

-Build and maintain a consistently strong pipeline:

– 100% prospecting through referrals and other creative approaches

-40-70 calls a day by cold calls, warm calls, and hot leads (leads will be provided).

They focus on a very niche clientele, their referral network.

Their target focus/go after civil litigation cases.

– Setting an average of 15 to 20 appointments a week, 70 phone appointments a month

– Email clients and follow up daily

– 10 scheduled cases typically convert to a 50% close rate, focus on 30-40 cases within a 6-month timeframe

– manage approximately 500 clients (20-30 individuals in each firm)

– excellent sales, negotiation, and team-building skills and techniques are required

-polished individual and have a high level of professionalism.

· ideal client target includes Managing Attorney, Office Manager, Legal Secretary, Paralegal, Examiner, Adjuster, etc.

Also, will speak with individuals at Allstate Insurance, State Farm, Corporate Counsel, Attorney General, California Department of Transportation


· Manage existing customer accounts and prospect, and close, new accounts (60/40 split, respectively)

· Conduct outbound calls, follow-up sales meetings, and qualify new business opportunities

· Set in-person and Zoom appointments for new opportunities and with existing customers

· Send out email marketing blasts using existing email templates

· Drive business through LinkedIn, other social media platforms, and our CRM

· Attain or exceed sales goals

· Work collaboratively with colleagues

· Successful business to business sales experience in a professional environment

Non – Negotiable Requirements

· A degree is preferred but not required, a candidate with successful sales with financial, printing sales, or in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

· Must be confident on the phone.

You will be making an average of 65 calls a day.

· Must have 3-5 years of proven experience in Business Development/Account Management.

· Must have a hunter mentality, driven by KPI’s, vibrant personality

· Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
