We are looking for Agile Transformation Lead – Remote Telecommute for our client in Hartford, CT Job Title Agile Transformation Lead – Remote Telecommute Job Location Hartford, CT Job Type Contract Job Description The Agile Transformation Lead will partner with the Enterprise CIO, LOB CIOs, and business partners to lead the Client Agile Transformation across the client. The Agile Transformation Lead will also lead the Agile Coaches and the Agile Center of Excellence (ACoE), leading a team of approximately 30 people. In this strategic role, will work with CIO, LOB leaders, Finance, HR, and other matrix organizations to design, transform and accelerate Agile transformation and adoption. The successful candidate will bring a demonstrated track record of success leading an Agile Transformation in large corporate setting as well as critical skills in developing partnerships, modeling behaviors and developing team capabilities. Responsibilities Manage the E2E Agile transformation program to achieve company’s strategic objectives. Ensure the transformation approach balances business and technology perspective to drive outcomes that are value-focused. Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, finance, HR, and business needs to drive and lead a pragmatic transformation plan. Partner with CIOs and key business partners on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Partner with Agile change lead and help manage day-to-day change management activities. Lead the organization, top to bottom, through significant change and directing change management activities spanning multiple lines of business and strategic partners. Develop and roll out the operating model for the Agile transformation incorporates systems thinking and reinforces the Lean-Agile mindset. Act as a subject matter expert on Lean-Agile methodologies and an advocate in adopting new best practices and processes. Identify opportunities for improvement, include feedback mechanism to support learning, coaching, and enabling continuous learning. Qualifications A minimum of five plus years of experience leading large (20M+) scale Agile transformations across an enterprise covering matrix functions. Practical experience in Agile execution, transformation across business and technology environment, and coaching experience is required. Minimum of two yearsrsquo successful experience coaching senior executives in Agile-lean methodologies at an enterprise level in business terms required. A minimum total of at least ten years of experience in technology and Agile roles, with at least three yearsrsquo experience in delivery lead andor software development and implementation in addition to the above-mentioned Agile experience. Track record of executing senior level discussionspresentations with key stakeholders to drive transformation and monitor adoption of Agile. Experience developing, communicating, socializing, and executing on key strategies for E2E Agile transformations across an enterprise able to share detailed metrics and reporting on progress of Agile adoption. Expertise and experience in Agile roles, processes and philosophy is required. Ability to work independently, think strategically and proven diagnostic ability are critical. Change agent, demonstrating courageous leadership driving and continuous improvement mindset. Executive presence excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills proven influencing skills. Effective presentation skills with an ability to make Agile concepts accessible to colleagues outside of technology Formal qualifications in Lean (Black Belt Level) andor Agile are welcomed, but not mandatory with appropriate levels of hands-on experience. Experience in financial services andor insurance industry helpful. Experience with scaled Agile required, knowledge of Rally andor Jira required. An ability and willingness to travel as required, up to 20 of the time less if based in Home Office.
