This is a Full-time position in Fort Worth, TX posted May 1, 2021.

Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)
The Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) will lead the global D&I strategy execution and measurement activities for the enterprise.

They will work in concert with senior leaders, and in alignment and support of the business goals and objectives.

The Director, Global D&I direct, oversee and monitor the company’s workforce, work-place and marketplace D&I strategic approach and corresponding efforts for all areas of the business.

The Director, Global D&I will also be responsible for partnering with TMOD and the business to create an environment of inclusion and equitable practices.

The r ole reports to the VP, Global Talent Acquisition & Chief D&I Officer.
The Director, Global D&I will have the following specific responsibilities:
Help to build, integrate and promote lasting D&I solutions and plans that cultivate an open and inclusive environment
Manage and track overall D&I Budget (ex.

how are we tracking without human capital investments in ERG, Program spend, UR spend, L&D spend)
Oversight, engagement, and guidance of Alcon’s global Employee Resource Groups (ERG)
Lead quarterly D&I progress and action planning sessions
Coordinate and drive partnership with consultants, employment attorneys, recruiters, Talent Management, and Compensation and Benefits.

Partner with other business and HR leaders, to embed effective D&I practices into every phase of the talent life cycle.

Building D&I communications strategy including plans, design, content, and maintenance of all channels in partnership with communications / branding team.

Perform external research and benchmarking; use data, insights, and industry trends to lead, influence, support, and facilitate organizational change.

Partner with Chief D&I Officer, the Global D&I team, and Corporate Affairs on annual D&I reporting
Defining diverse D&I training programs and partnering with TMOD for delivery
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of years and education of directly related experience.

Work Experience:
10+ years organizational & leadership experience with at least 5 years’ experience designing, implementing, managing and measuring D&I strategies.

Must have led a D&I team or function within a large and complex global organization
Strong consulting, collaboration and assessment skills for both individuals and organizations.

Strong presentation and communication skills Strong negotiation and influencing skills for communicating and resolving conflict.

Strong comprehension skills for understanding needs and concerns and developing and applying solutions.

Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities, workflow and deadlines concurrently.

Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with leadership and staff at all levels.

Ability to understand and apply federal, state and local changes to and/or new regulations/laws pertaining to human resources and affirmative action.

Expectation is an estimated 20% global travel (when safely possible)
