nn nn Our offerings connect physicians and patients and their cardiac device data at every point of care: nn Remote monitoring for the home and acute settings—such as the ER and OR Programmers for implants and in-clinic device follow-up Information Systems that integrate cardiac device data for the device clinic nn As the leader of Digital Strategy, you will shape the future of the care experience for healthcare professionals and patients around the world.

Use your creativity to transform patient care across Medtronic’s implantable cardiac device portfolio.

The right candidate will be passionate about understanding user workflow, be able to distill feedback into unmet needs (design thinking) and drive product definition.

nn nn A Day in the Life nn Develop a clear vision and long-term digital product strategy for the MDT Patient Management ecosystem, defining where MDT will play, where we partner, and where we do not play.

Establish new business model to supplement the existing transaction sales with a subscription model, defining on how MDT will succeed in this space.

Represent voice of business in definition of data strategy, identifying prioritized use cases, value proposition, business model Define opportunities to develop internally, partner externally, or pursue M&A, working with Business Development team to optimize time-to-market and/or close competitive gaps Hire and develop marketing team with expertise in digital products and services, data and interoperability Lead competitive intel around our digital patient management offering, ensuring we are ahead of the competition in the critical feature Partner with Upstream Marketing on advisory board meetings and with the Regions on customer engagements Partner with Downstream Marketing to get our vision and strategy messaged to the market Partner with Upstream Marketing and Engineering to drive the product development execution nn Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

nn Formulates and reviews corporate short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product or product line.

Conducts competitive product analysis and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience.

Determines the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements.

Develops production and marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effective product placement relative to market opportunity, working closely with product development for a specific product, brand, or product area over its entire life cycle.

Works with other functions to finalize product specifications.

Provides advertising with core brand equity.

Serves as technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues.

nn Must Have: Minimum Requirements nn Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience nn Nice to Have nn MBA or advanced degree Experience in medical device, healthcare or IT industry Experience establishing/launching Software as a Service business models nn About Medtronic n nTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
