Loan Processing Supervisor – Correspondent Lending

The Loan Processing Supervisor – Correspondent Lending will oversee the daily workflow of the Correspondent processing team, prioritize work to ensure that closing dates and lock dates are met. Primary functions are to resolve workflow problems, troubleshoot system issues, act as the first escalation point, coach and train staff to efficiently execute procedures.Responsibilities include:Assist processors with file review and compiling an accurate needs listProvide direction, training and coachingManage the processing pipeline and provide strategic direction of activities and priorities of processing staffCommunicate with various Credit Union staff regarding file submission quality, outstanding conditions and other various loan attributesBe an advocate for change, including use of RoostifyProficient use of reporting systemClear all Non-Shippable and Uninsurable items to ensure the purchase of the loansIdentify areas of concern or improvement and make recommendations to improve workflow, automation and procedures to the Processing ManagerAnswer complex questions regarding the work process for team members/Credit Unions and solve complex problems and issues through to resolution Acts as a liaison between the Credit Union, processing team and the Processing ManagerTrain and assist team members on the Loan Origination System (LOS) and workflowProvide and ensure excellent customer service to internal and external clients Delegate and review the work of team members on a daily basisCoach and train team members in order to elevate experience levelsProvide input for annual performance reviews of team members to the Processing ManagerInterview and provide input on hiring new employeesAssist the Processing Manager with the maintenance and accuracy of time and attendance data of team membersOther duties as assignedRequirements:10+ years mortgage processing and customer service experience5+ years of experience in developing reports, analyzing data, root cause analysis and process flow designAbility to provide leadership strategy and interpret dataThorough working knowledge of secondary market guidelines including FNMA, FHLMC, VA, HUD, USDA and Private Investor loansProficient in AUS software, i.e. DU and LPThorough understanding of RESPA, TRID and ECOA regulationsAdvanced knowledge of mortgage operations, organization, and processing teamsMaintain a working level of knowledge regarding mortgage concepts and terminologySuccessful NMLS Registration requiredAbility to hold team accountable for consistent communication, responsiveness, and meeting deadlinesOutstanding verbal and written communication MS Office proficiencyAbility to follow established guidelines to accomplish tasks and solve complex problemsAbility to plan, organize and schedule the work of othersAbility to meet established daily expectationsMust be available to work additional hours on short notice as determined by management to meet client service level agreementsThis position offers a full range of benefits including Health, Dental, and 401k.Equal Opportunity EmployerM/F/Disability/Vet.Member FDIC | Equal Housing Lender | NMLS ID 401285
