Our Opportunity:Chewy is seeking an Project Manager of Fulfillment Operations to manage new Fulfillment Center (FC) launches, network expansions and special projects.

This role will act as the primary operations project manager for large-scale and emerging technology/process implementations.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem solving and process improvement, a track record for utilizing data to drive decisions, and exceptional cross organization collaboration skills.

A highly organized individual with an understanding of the project management process, and ensures the project is ready on time and on budget.

This is a high-visibility role that will interact with all levels of the organization and requires a candidate that has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Project Manager will partner closely with a cross function of internal stakeholders, along with external subcontractors and vendors.

The role requires someone who can be agile, roll-up their sleeves, and think outside the box to succeed, as it requires managing an expanding fulfillment network.

If you’re equally passionate about e-commerce fulfillment and career growth, an opportunity at Chewy may be a great match!What You’ll Do:Prepare, publish, distribute and maintain a project schedule with milestones for all cross-functional stakeholdersCreate bid packages, negotiate any revisions to vendor bids, and facilitates project scope changesMaintain up to date financial picture of project, providing finance/accounting with schedule of invoicingMonitor project progress, incorporate resolutions to potential project delays and communicates project status to leadership on a timely basisEnsure smooth and consistent communication and exchanges of data between operations, vendors, and internal stakeholdersPrepare a concise and thorough commissioning plan and acceptance testing, managing commissioning activities of vendors and ensures operations acceptanceMonitor fulfillment of contract requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables75 % Travel as a project manager is required and depending on the current project assignment(s) What You’ll Need:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business discipline7+ years technical experience with project management5+ years’ experience functional experience in implementing process changes and managing large complex projectsStrong analytics and communications background (e.g., math, statistics, quantitative methods, and verbal and writing proficiency)Perform business requirements analysis and designAct as the primary liaison between operations leadership and vendorsPerform gap analysis between physical processes and future operations needs and the have the ability to vet project requests and prioritize them accordinglyBuild structured prioritization and change management processesIdentify and recommend operations improvement opportunities to meet ever increasing business requirementsComprehensive computer application skills
