nnThe Regional Sales Director is a sales leader/driver reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales.  The Regional Sales Director is tasked with achieving the sales goals and growth for their offices in their region both in total and for each office.  This position is responsible for executing the strategic sales plans developed by leadership that will promote sales achievement and customer satisfaction for the company.  This position acts as a “Player/Coach” and may contribute a certain amount of self-generated sales, except for an extremely large market region as designated by the CSO.nn nnPrincipal Duties & Responsibilitiesnn nnProfitabilityCore responsibility is to achieve the combined sales goal for assigned regionBalanced Sales and Leadership Focus & ExecutionThis position is expected to have full engagement of the sales process as a manager and a leader but may have a higher focus on the Business Development and Project Director functions in day-to-day actions.This position is a “Player/Coach” position may have a certain amount of personal target accounts and business development activity may include contributing both self-generated and team sales. This position will execute and re-enforce all sales training initiatives in their assigned offices as a hands-on influencer.General ResponsibilitiesStaffing within assigned region for all sales related positionsDevelop Regional Accounts and help leveraging National Account growth in their regionSupport consistency for driving the defined BluSky Sales Process throughout their region.Support Best Practices in navigating sales splits within and between regions.AlignmentThis position is intended to have significant partnership and collaboration with the office VP’s and RVP’s to drive sales goals by region and location.nn nnSupervisory Responsibility nn nnThis position does not have any direct reports but is intended to have a direct dotted line with local BD managers and Project Directors within their assigned regions.nn
